Lottie was wonderful to work with. She is extremely professional and has an eye for detail. I can't wait to work with her again!

Well, Eric and I took the boys camping for two days and a night, at the gun club we are members of. Eric got to play family troop leader, I diligently played the roll of support and gatherer...and I fulfilled my duties in which I "fully" contributed....starting with this recipe as Eric took the boys venturing for more firewood...
1-Marshmallow (Toasted to a nice shade of coffee brown)
1 -Graham Cracker Square, smothered with peanut butter
Put toasted marshmallow on top of the peanut butter smothered graham cracker and top with another graham cracker square to create: A "Campfire Fluffa Nutta"
Yes, this is my contribution- for the record a microwave works just as good and a lot quicker....lol This may or may not already be a sister snack to the traditional S'more...I didn't have a laptop to do the research at the time and I really wasn't interested in using my marshmallow, peanut butter drenched hands on anything electronic I'm off to take a nap now...it was a LONG, cold night, last night :)
I absolutely loved my vintage photo shoot with Lottie!! She has a way of putting you at ease so you don't feel like your on the spot to do poses all day. She pretty much told us to carry on like we would normally do and she was in the back ground shooting away. She was creative and had amazing ideas of what to do but also let you put your suggestions in. She has an eye for detail and will tell you if your lipstick needs reapplied or your hair is a disaster. I would recommend her a thousand times over and can't wait to see what she has in mind for our wedding!!!

just wanted to let you know I received my jewelry. It's beautiful !!! Thank you for the birthday earrings, I loved them. That was so thoughtful. Thanks Again Sharon
Lottie has such a natural talent of expressing true creativity and originality. As a bridal party we all just trusted her judgement and went with what she said, at times we were hesitant..but those turned out to be some of the best shots that we will have for a lifetime! All the pictures were wonderful and brought tears to my eyes. With ease she captured the essence of the day. Everyone at the wedding who viewed the photos were impressed by her skill.
I even had one lady who does serious photography as a hobby and she sang her praises as well. Great job and Thanks again!!

Lottie was kind enough to photograph my wedding in September of 2008. I wasn't specific as to what I wanted but trusted her enough to just let her do her thing. My pictures came out unbelievably great! She's very intuitive and flexible with her ability to take pictures. She can capture even the smallest details you would never imagine are so important until you see it for yourself. She adds an artistic flare to any photo she takes. I highly recommend her for any occasion. There's nothing this girl can't do!!

I do not claim to be a professional anything...I am always learning and there are many other creative people out there far better at doing what I may do. However- I have a creative eye...I may not reach the end result in the same ways "professionals" do...but I get there. I'm sure it's harder, but I get it done... I know there are many "rules" to photography, painting, beading, mosaic'ing, designing, etc. but I firmly believe, art is all based on what the buyer thinks of it!
A photographer may look at one of my prints and be like- pfffft, that's wrong, this is wrong and the why did she not do, or do this or that....but the client may absolutely LOVE it....sooooo, is it wrong? Nope :)
An artist may say - the shading is totally off and there is no depth?!?! But the client may love it just the way it is....soooooo, is it wrong? Nope :)
A jeweler may say- you shouldn't mix silver wire with bronze jewelry hardware! But the client may love her new earrings just the way they are! soooooo, is it wrong? Nope :)
I'm not better, but I'm not worse. I love the many areas of "art" I work with and I am by far my own worse critic. There are many times I have to step away and shelf a project and get to it later...ALL artists have works in progress, some haven't been touched for years! One day though, we will pick it up again and completely revamp it and finish it, glowing with self reassurance that we completed a kick ass piece of work~
There will always be just as many critics as there are fans....because like I said....all art depends on the person who gazes their eyes upon it- to each their own. The artist creates based on emotion and everyone else has their own emotions, opinions, critiques, etc. of that same piece. So embrace it and if you feel the need to critique it...it really doesn't matter, there will ALWAYS be someone else who thinks differently. :)
But, if you would like to offer advice or guidance to help another artist out, on how to achieve the desired effect or outcome- help another artist out! We are always learning and being inspired by other creative people~
Goodnight- It's almost the weeeeeeekend!!
