So I actually did get started on the book and finishing up a few more projects I haven't been able to play with lately. Not a whole lot has been going on lately, just living the life, the American dream...
I'm thinking instead of investing in real estate, metals, gems, etc. we should invest in gun powder...the way everything is going lately, it seems that's what's really going to be a hot comodity when the shit hits the fan. I think teenagers are lazy slobs and their ulitmate goal in life is to get a rise out of people.....drives me crazy, but tell ya what...it makes the days while they're in school and the silence in the house seem like a vacation every day!!! I dread 3:00PM...hey, most moms think like this, I'm just not afraid to admit it! After 3:00PM the quaint, silent, humble abode turns into a sweat shop...CHORES, HOMEWORK, CLEANING ROOM, LAUNDRY, blah, blah, blah...I feel like a Drill Instructor sometimes....but trust me, I'm sure a recruit is MUCH more willing to do the deeds I ask, than a 15 year old boy. The 9 year old has me snowed though, he will sit there for hours on end doing "homework!" How can I fight with that...he's trying to better his education, be on top of everything in his class...he bats his big baby blues at me and says "but Mom?! I am doing my Hoooooooomework!" "OK, OK...go back to reading your Hulk Magazine...." Sigh....anyway, on that note, it's 4:17....let the directing begin! Peace~ Lottie

Ok this is kind ofa spin off of Reeces Chewy Chocolate Cookies, however me being me, cannot do do ANYTHING by the book- I always add my own twist, so here we go:
INGREDIENTS 4 cups all purpose flour 1 1/2 Cup Hershey's cocoa- (baking, not for drinking- yes I've made this mistake before!) 2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda (Yellow Box- do not mistake for powder!) 1 Teaspoon of Salt 2 Sticks of REAL Butter 2 1/2 Cups of Butter Crisco 4 Cups of Regular Sugar 4 Eggs 4 Teaspoons of Vanilla( Fake, real, it doesn't matter) 1 10oz bag of Reece's Peanut Butter Chips 1 10oz bag of DARK CHOCOLATE Chips- not milk, semi sweet, fake- real Nestle DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS! (They're better for you too than the others!) HOW TO WHIP UP THIS HEAVENLY CONCOCTION: Heat Oven to 350' Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until fluffy. (I have a kick ass Kitchen Aid I got last year as my first Xmas present ever from my boyfriend- hmmmmm, wonder what he was trying to get at??...anyway) Add eggs and vanilla- BEAT/MIX WELL with mixer. While beating, gradually add flour mixture. With a wooden spoon, stir in the Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Chips. Drop spoonfuls of dough about 2-3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet/stone or parchment paper. Bake- 8-9 Minutes - DO NOT OVERBAKE- YUCK! If you have parchment paper - this is a huge plus when baking in bulk- as you can literally take the entire sheet off the pan when done and less mess. Line "baking stone" which is way better than a pan in my eyes- if you have one great, if not- go with a regular cookie sheet. Cool - Makes about 8 dozen cookies- perfect for the holidays! Try it, you won't be disappointed!! Don't critique my spelling, I'm in the middle of baking and typed this up real quick- be THANKFUL I thought of y'all! :) Happy Holidays and be safe~ Lottie I work for OrnamentShop.com.
