DO YOU PROVIDE TIMELINE PLANNING FOR THE WEDDING?
Yes! Assisting my couples with the timeline for their wedding is a service I always provide to my couples. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, especially when you factor in all of the photo-ops you may want but don’t know to include in your shot list, or know how long to allot for them. I’m here to help you finalize the schedule of events and potential shot list, and then we’ll make sure we tick all your boxes the day of.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR EDITING STYLE?
My style of editing is true-to-life: polished, but most of all authentic. I have the knowledge and expertise to edit out unsightly or distracting elements, but when it comes to the colors and feeling of a photograph, I’m enhancing the natural aesthetics of the shot. I keep it real. No dated editing trends, gray grass, or orange skin tones here. Your love is timeless, so your photos should be too.
HOW MANY HOURS IS YOUR AVERAGE WEDDING DAY BOOKING?
My average couple hires me for eight-ten hours. Preserving your precious memories is so important to me, and I would never want to leave your wedding before all of your scheduled events you’ll want photos of have taken place. A timeline that allows for getting ready photos of the bride and groom really ties the story of your wedding day together, as we can look back on your wedding from beginning to end.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ADD COVERAGE BY A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER TO ANY PACKAGE?
I always advocate for the inclusion of a second photographer in my team if the budget allows. Having a second allows for different perspectives of your day to be captured, and for your photography team to divide and conquer. One of us can get ready with each side of the wedding party, something a single photographer can’t do in the same amount of time, even if the couple is getting ready in the same location. A second can also cover your cocktail hour if your couples portraits are taking place during that time, which is often the case.
I need to pay my seconds fairly for their time and experience, so a second photographer costs $50/hour to add to your package. What we may accomplish together, though, is priceless.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
I want to get to know you as a couple before I show up to your wedding! Aside from questionnaires and zoom calls, the best way to do this is for us to have fun together celebrating your engagement. Already had your engagement photos taken? We can still go out and play with the camera! If you’re down, I’m down. I cherish every photo I have with my partner, and a couples session before your wedding is always included when you book with me. Engagement sessions are 90 minutes long and you will receive everything besides the dupes, blinks, and bloops (though the good bloopers are always left in).
HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
I deliver all of your gorgeous high-res images digitally through an online gallery you can access anywhere, anytime. You will have a one time digital download of your images with editorial print release when the gallery is complete. At any time, you can order prints or albums of all types and sizes from a trusted printing lab directly through your gallery. Family, friends etc. can order a full digital download of the entire gallery as well for $350.00, or can pick and choose via your gallery for individually priced images.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS BACK?
After having a blast together on your wedding day, I know the anticipation to get your photos back is high, so you can share your wonderful day with everyone else (or just look back on it yourselves)! But I want you to love every image I deliver, and for that I need some time, and I know you don’t want me to rush either.
My contract includes a turn-around time of roughly twelve weeks (depending on my current workload), but I always send out a little teaser before your honeymoon is over!
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Of course. I’m running a tight ship here and this business is street-legal.
If your venue wants to see proof of insurance, that’s no problem at all.
